School Support Auction Surpasses 20K

Friends, donors, parents, church members and staff donated treasure and time to raise nearly twenty-two thousand dollars for our Scholarship Fund. Tremendous job!

Students and former students served dinner that a neighbor and friend, Craig Nero, prepared. Our pastor stood on stage to tease out the highest bid after helping to raise funds in other ways. Teachers operated booths and saw to every comfort of our 160 guests after spending a week of intensive preparation. St. Paul Lutheran champion and former secretary, Betty Cooper, and organizer extraordinaire and 4th grade teacher, Sandy Koester, planned a night to remember, one that was a great joy to many and raised twenty-six thousand dollars in gross donation funds.

Thank you to our friends that have come out year after year to support our students and make this event a perennial success. We are entirely grateful to you! You sustain us and continue to support our mission. Thanks to the first-time guests and donors like the Southern District Church Extension Fund who gave of themselves, we hope you return for our 176th school year. And thanks to our last-minute anonymous donors who wanted badly to see us reach our goal! Of course, 100% of the proceeds support our families in the form of scholarship funds as tuition assistance.
