Registration

We are very happy that you are considering enrolling your child in St. Paul Lutheran School.

We would be happy to conduct a personal tour of our school at a time that is convenient for you and explain why St. Paul Lutheran School may be 'right' for you and your child...

Just call the school office at (504) 947-1773.

The following enrollment information is designed to make your introduction to our school family as helpful as possible:

1. Registration forms for the 2016-2017 school year are now available in the school office. You may pick one up in person, or we will be happy to mail one to you. For new and returning students, a completed registration form and a $250 registration fee (or a minimum $100 deposit) must be turned to the school office to hold a space for next school year. A space cannot be reserved for your child without the form completely filled out and the fee paid. Total payment of the registration fee must be completed prior to the beginning of school.

2. If you are a new enrollee, you must submit the following:

  • Immunization Card
  • Social Security Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Latest Report Card

NOTE: All new enrollees must schedule an appointment with the Principal. Your child must attend this meeting. An entrance test will be given for second graders and above. Upon acceptance, the registration form and the registration fee (or registration fee deposit) are required.

3. If your child is accepted for the 2016-2017 school term and then withdraws, the enrollment fee will not be returned. Students placed on our waiting list will have their fee returned if an opening is not available 10 days prior to the first day of school.

Students may not attend class if the school does not have on file a copy of the child’s birth certificate and an up-to-date immunization form. These two items are required by the State of Louisiana.

Enrollment requires:

a commitment to Christian education by the family,
a commitment from parent and child to fully cooperate with the total school program and personnel,
a commitment to the prompt and current payment of all fees and tuition, and
a commitment to respect and cooperate with the faculty and staff, school families, St. Paul congregation, and the St. Paul Lutheran School Board.
