Catapult and Title I

Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act provides financial assistance to schools like ours with a high number of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging academic standards.

Our federal funds are administered by Catapult Learning. With these funds, certified teachers teach small groups of students, assist them with their class assignments, instruct them in test preparation, and lead them through an online curriculum called Compass Learning. Catapult Learning's curriculum and lessons are aligned to Common Core State Standards. Several Catapult Learning teachers are based at St. Paul Lutheran every day. Catapult Learning also provides counseling services by a licensed social worker.
